District Outreach Initiatives (DOI) at Murray
District Outreach Initiatives (DOI) empowers parents and caregivers to become active partners in their child’s education through leadership training, advocacy, and community engagement.
At Murray Language Academy, parents who join DOI serve as Parent Mentors. They receive training and immediately put that learning into practice by supporting students and teachers in classrooms, strengthening instruction, and helping build a positive school culture. This hands-on approach allows parents to grow as leaders while directly impacting student learning.
